I thought that when you get married, the day was ALL ABOUT YOU! Tell me why I asked a Wedding question & a guy put this:
"It sounds like you're looking for money, or
a big party that centers around you.
Neither are a good reason to marry."
***& that's not what I was thinking. That dude's comment made me feel unimportant or like I don't have a right to get married & be happy. I'm single now. I'm just curious about my future because I DO want to get married someday.

I saw that answer. I thumbed him down; he was already dumbed down. The guy was an idiot; obviously an idiot who could not read well. He is nasty online because if he did it in real life an 8 year old girl could probably beat him down. LOL

I guess women do want to have a big wedding that centers around them but the real importance about a wedding is the marriage. People are preparing for a wedding instead of preparing for the life commitment that they are about to make.
When people are answering questions, and I sometimes do this to, they forget that YOU are an actual person with feeling and emotions. They start to generalize the asker into a mass group of people. That has no feelings, just a majority, in this case, of Bridezillas. I wouldn't take it to heart.

Yes the Wedding Day is sop pose to be all about you. You're gonna be a bride.. And people are gonna be there to see you.
Ans as for the bozo that sent that to you. He probably had some girl hurt his poor feels. So don't take comments like that serious, That's why they're putting thoughs in there. That and just to get thoughs 2 points.

Ignore others. People will read a question and make it sound like what they want to see. That person may have been dumped by a girl who wanted money, that he didn't have, took your question the same way, and thus took his past out on you. Most people answer these questions off of what life has given them. At times, this can be pain, and it comes off as being very rude, cruel, or just uncalled for. Just don't let it bother you. you know what you want, why you want it, and don't let anyone on here or anywhere else change your mind.

Some people just don't think before they speak (or type) and/or are insensitive and don't care about the feelings of others. A person's wedding day is supposed to be very sacred and special. I want to get married someday as well. Don't pay any attention to anyone who makes rude remarks. :)

Yeah. I know the feeling. I'd like to be Fred Flinstone one day. (that was a joke) About the questions, people sometimes only need very little incentive to let out their inhibitions and insecurities. With me it happens when I ask a clever or witty question. They would answer with rash or even envious remarks. Some people here are not so smart.

Many times it is because "this is my opinion and anyone who disagrees must be a moron". Human nature? Possibly. However, in your example, it appears to me the the answerer was merely stating the impression he got from your question. One cannot expect all answers to be in the same manner of thinking as your own. Unless it is a hateful, downright mean answer (and believe me, there are way too many of those), just disagree and move on. You've already made your decision, don't dwell on those who disagree with you.

I dont know, people can be sooo mean here!!! I think they do it because they're online, and they know you're not gonna know who they are. But in person, i'm sure they wouldnt have the guts to say things like this! And that guy that wrote that probably just wants to feel good about himself and he must have no life. But i've gotten mean answers in the past too!

Do not worry about it...they are out there to try to make you feel bad because that's what makes them happy. They have nothing better to do and are just rude. Don't even pay attention to those low lifes, you're way better than that and innoncent people like you on here don't deserve that.
