Get almost a completely new set of clothes, swap in and out about half of your clothes, add several items, or remain mostly the same clothes you wore last year?

I'm personally an adder, I buy some things that I didn't have in my wardrobe before. For example this summer I added plaid shorts and a blazer to collection for the fall. I'm interested to see if there's a consensus that differs from males and females.

I add, because it's way too much trouble and too much money to start completely over. For example, I have a ton of knits and things from Abercrombie, A/X, etc but I don't have enough pants. So this year I going to get two pair of good jeans 80-120$, some cropped pants, some new polos.

Also, I look through my closet and take out all the things I don't want to wear anymore. Like I have some Hollister and Abercrombie hoodies that I want to give to my friends or to goodwill.

Plus, when comes to clothes from last year, I believe if you pick good items, with good quality and don't completely fall to every trend there is, you will get the most for your money. Oh yeah I add one designer item to.

I get a completely new set of clothes and only keep things that i cant live without. When i buy clothes i dont really think about the style of them. then i'll wear them and get sick of them. So i give most of my wardrobe away and get new clothes. But this year i'm hoping to pick out some things that i'll really like and wont wanna throw away.

my kids are still pretty young (5-10) and summer is really hard on there cloths so when school starts I usually have to buy them about 7 outfits each! and 1pair of shoes for the boys 2 for my little girl. I don't however buy them all at one time I spend thirty dollars on each child every month of the summer. then right before school starts I go and do my finish up shopping.

About 1/4 - 1/3 of my clothes change, mostly because I'm still growing and a lot of last season's clothes don't fit me anymore. So I replaced a lot of spring clothing with fall clothing.

[ I suggest an addendum asking if high, middle, or low income - bet that makes a big difference! ]
Everyone in my house is an adder - we take inventory, see what needs to be replaced or is missing, and look for sales and clearance items.
Me, husband, son #1, son #2, nephew, and 'female friend' who buys enough for everyone, but shops at thrift stores!
