Personally, I think the most beautiful sunsets happen when there are middle-level clouds, say 8000-15000 feet, that's when you get the deepest reds. Very clear dry sunsets with a clear horizon are also nice, because then you have a good chance for a green flash.

the dust and gasses in the atmosphere cause it so if there is alot of dust in the atmosphere then it will reflect off the clouds more and you will get a beautiful brilliant sunset so like in new york city and in oswego new york there are very beautiful sunsets because there are so many gasses and dust and junk in the air but in florida there are more clear orange sunsets because florida doesnt have as much gas and pollution in the air
