Because Hillary is making her run a gender issue. That is the only way she hopes to win. with the 50% of the potential vote being female, she feels that she isin the cat bird seat. All of a sudden, she is the ideal housewife, mother and wife. Have you noteiced that she is re-creating herself?

Two reasons I can think of. First of all, how many women have run for president in the United States? Secondly, I think Hillary carries a lot of her husband's baggage, although in my opinion he was and will always be one of the best presidents in history insofar as not only balancing the budget, but exceeding it. How many presidents have done that? That's what Ronald Reagon tried to do, but failed. Anyway, I'm digressing. I do think it's a gender issue because only the white Anglo -Saxon Protestant males think they are the only ones that qualify as presidential material. And the good old boys will always think that way.

Thank you thank you thank you!
The Clinton campaign began this strategy themselves almost a year ago by making the election about "America being READY for a female President" instead of being about the issues.
I would totally and completely support a female President. Just not this one. It has nothing to do with "socialism", it has to do with change. Another Clinton funded by big business isnt change, its same old same old.

Perhaps Hillary running for President is the beginning of the end of the "neurotypical" President. Women believe that Senator Clinton is a crusader for the rights of women in our society. Maybe that's a good thing, maybe that's bad. I can't predict the future.

Get out from under the covers. People resist change. Democrats as a whole are socialist.
I hope Hillary is elected. In 4 years everyone will hate her so much she will be done. Look at the facts. Republicans want you to make money. Go for the gold. Make your own way in life. Democrats want to reward you for doing nothing.
Foodstamps, Welfare, its ok. You cant take care
of yourself? Its ok we'll care of you.Sounds like
Socialism to me.

It really irks me when the libs use this issue as a reason to support hillary's candidacy.
Woman or, not, she deserves no support at all.
Gender is not relevant to the selection of our nation's president and their even mentioning her sex as a reason to vote for her only shows how totally moronic the lib list of priorities can be.

because many have posted that her gender is an issue. perhaps you haven't viewed such posts here or on other sites but believe me, they exist.
she doesn't have a socialist agenda. she may have some leanings in that direction but she is still a capitalist. look at her history- she's made a buck or two (sarcasm) from selling and buying things like property (which you couldn't do with a socailist government)

A socialist agenda. I don't vote because all politician really are not aggressive in ideas. They like the world to hold the light bulb and turn it in. There social group may be not your favorite people. I'm in Canada and put three very sensitive question to people. There is only three that profile scary.

The real truth is she doesn't really want to be President, she just wants to stir the pot, get her face plastered on all the TV stations, and will most likely hand the job over to hubby to run while she sits there and does nothing.

Chris Rock said it best, no one hates a white woman more than another white woman. I do agree with you about the fact that there are other more pressing issues to consider but since she is the first serious female to run for president gender is in fact a very real issue, whether you and I like it or not.
