Example, when I downloaded a game called Gunz the duel it lags so much and it lags everyone else. Now my computer is good enough to handle games like Maple Story and Ragnarok Online, and even Legend Of Ares without problem. But Gunz just slows it down so much. The reason I'm asking is that I plan on buying World of Warcraft Burning Crusade(I don't have the first one) and I want to know would that lag and freeze my comp as well? If so is it my LAN or something else?

those game u mentioned that works on ur PC aren't really high resolution game compared to WoW
if ur comp keep freezing, is probably time to change ur graphic card.
if its only lagging.. is probably due to ur broadband speed.
if u lagging other player, is probably due to ur domain.. where do u live? if u r not living in US and u r playing in a US server.. u will probably lag and cause others to lag as well.
but overall.. i feel its time to upgrade ur PC if u haven't.

It could be your video card. Check if you need to update your drivers and also see if you have to step down the settings.

The server your on must have a bad connection.
