One part warm water to two parts white vinegar in a bowl. Wipe the shower door with a clean white cloth dipped in this solution. For the tricky textured areas, use an old toothbrush and dip it in to the water. Rinse clean. The nice thing is, you're not using harsh (expensive) chemicals.

Mix a product called Lemi-Shine (about 1/2 cup) and 1 cup vinegar and 1-2 cups water in a spray bottle. This stuff works miracles. I buy Lemi-shine at Walmart for about $3 and it lasts about 6 months. It is actually a product made for your dishwasher to make glasses sparkle.

I would use Comet. Get the shower door wet and then pour Comet on there and wait a few minutes and then come back with a Large tub scrubbing brush and they should come right out.

scrub with a sponge, and use 1 part Mr.clean and 1 part tilelex cleaner and 3 parts water.
pour all in a 32oz cup and scrub.
then rinse
then spray with vinegar water in a spray bottle. (best to keep around house)
then dry with a old t-shirt cut in to rags.

Ida never believed it, but that Scrubbing Bubbles shower cleaner thngy really really does work. No kidding. I put it in my (brand new house) shower and I haven't cleaned the shower yet and it's been six months. My sis put it in her grungy old basement shower--I swear, the thing looks almost new. Amazing.

I have the same problem. I have found the best thing to use is toothpaste and a scrub brush. We have really hard water, and have to do it at least twice a year with the toothpaste.

We have always used CLR. Once you get it clean, treat the glass with Rainex. The water will bead up and won't leave spots.

Hydrogen peroxide and kosher salt. Make a paste and scrub, then rinse. Works like a charm and is cheap, too. Rubbing alcohol probably works, too- but I would think it would be very harsh-so is ammonia- tough on your lungs.

Spray it with vinegar three times a week. Cheap and easy. No need to rinse.

I've had good luck with lime away spray, it dissolves the hard water buildup so that you can scrub it off.
