I think Tom Glavine is going to be the last player we see with 300 wins. I'm not sure that Randy Johnson is going to pitch again, but if he does he has a shot. I don't think anyone else, no matter how good they are right now, is going to reach that plateau. I mean, a pitcher coming into the league now would need fifteen 20 win seasons to reach 300. Pitchers just don't get enough starts anymore and having a 15 year injury free career is just about impossible. Which means they'll need to dominae for the better part of 2 decades to get to 300 wins. I don't see it happening for anyone.

as someone answered earlier definitely Tom Glavine barring an career ending injury. Randy Johnson is contemplating retirement and is probably out for the rest of the season, the only other close candidates are Wells, Mussina and Moyer and they are nearing the end of there careers also.
some of the younger Hill Aces out there that have a shot i feel would be CC Sabathia, Roy Oswalt, Roy Halladay, Johan Santana, and Mark Buehrle
P.S. if Pedro Martinez could come back strong and pitch another 6 or 7 years he could reach the 300 win club also, he is only about 100 wins shy and is only 33 years old

Well Tom Glavine's next win will give him 300. The only over active player with at least 240 wins is Randy Johnson. He has 280 something. And who knows if he will ever pitch again. I know Jamie Moyer and David Wells both have 0ver 220 wins. But Moyer is 44 and Wells is 43 I think.

Other than Tom Glavine, Probably the only pitcher who has the real potential to do it is Johan Santana, and even he would have to keep up a pretty good pace for the rest of his career to do it. Other than him, no current pitcher really can do it. They just don't pitch long enough to get as many wins as they used to.

glavine only needs one. unit needs 16. so if he's able to pitch next year and win 10 and maybe pitch one more season and win atleast 6...........that's do-able.
but beyond that. no pitcher with 200 wins has the years to get to 300. like kenny rogers or boomer or hell even pedro.
young guys like johan or cc or verlander or bondo or peavy or so on and so forth. are too far away from that kind of talk

Besides Glavine I think only Pedro Martinez will. Pitchers just don't get enough starts anymore to reach 300.

Glavine will do it, RJ has a shot if he doesn't retire, Mussina legitimately has a shot although he would probably be the worst pitcher ever to accomplish the feat.

Glavine, on the cusp.
Johnson, I think, will simply refuse to buckle under if he has anything left next year. He WANTS it.
And Martinez, depending on how strong his comeback is.
Mussina, despite his 240+ Ws, I think will not make it, but if he surprises me, that would be nice.
I don't bother speculating on anyone not yet halfway there.
