My AC only works when the outdoor temp on my car shows 40 degrees or higher. The problem is, when it is 80 degrees outside, the temp in my car may read 33 degrees or it may actually read 80 degrees. What is the problem?

The sensor may be clogged with dirt. Take it to Autozone and have them run a free diagnostic and replace the sensor.

Sounds like a shorted heater control head.You should see your local dealer for the repair.Hope this helps.
