You're hiking and you're already pretty far up the mountain. You're in the middle of nowhere, with trees surrounding you. Then a severe unexpected thunderstorm comes. What would you do?

I heard something about standing under a tree will lead to an even greater risk of being electrocuted so I would probably try to find like a cave or something I could crawl into until it was over

Look for a natural depression, but one that has an easy way out in case of too much water..... stay away from the tallest trees, due to lightning risk

Find the deepest part of the trees and shelter there, keeping an eye out for flooding or landslides.

probably phone someone and if my cell phone were dead worst case scenario, i would try to find some vacant cave or something and try to stay dry. but most likely, i would be with someone and wouldn't be stuck in that kind of sitch.
