Try using toilet seat liners for blotting papers. Works for me. It doesn't disturb your makeup either, just blots up the oil. Just don't use the first one because it might have airborne germs on it. Then you can keep it in your purse and just tear off a chunk when needed, or be fancy and cut it up in squares. Try it, you'll like it. Anyway, the price is right.

It all starts with your preparation.
Cleanse. tone if you want. moisturise.
Oil free products that mattify your skin.
Clarins is good (but expensive)
Clinique is GREAT and more affordable.
Use an oil free foundation....i find mineral make up the best. The finishing powder helps with the shine.
You may have to blot at some point during the day though if your skin is as oily as you say. A tissue is fine. pat gently changing the tissue as it gets oiled.
Apply another light sweep of finishing powder and your good to go. This takes like 3 mins to do.
I keep a retractable blusher brush loaded with finishing powder in my bag for oily touch ups.....I know where your coming from LOL.
Oil blotting sheets r ok But I found they left too much powder on my face and I dont like the feeling of having a face full of powder or makeup!
Thats why I stick with mineral makeup. Its light. Lets your skin breathe and doesnt feel like your wearing a truck load of goop on your face.....
Try and find mattifying facial products. They really do help alot!!!!
Cheers to oil free skin!

Well let me say first off that you are lucky. If you think your skin is oily, mine is oilier! Unfortunately, my face gets shiney within ONE HOUR after washing! :( so I definetly feel your pain.
However, I found that this routine normally works and helps me to acheive a natural, non-cakey finish:
1. Wash your face with an oil-free cleanser such as Neutrogena Oil-free Acne Wash. Rinse off the soap with cool water to tighten your pores.
2. Apply a toner to your face such as Noxema Triple Clean Pads. These remove extra residue, oil, and tightens your pores even more.
3. Even though your skin may be oily, a moisturizer is key to preventing your face from drying out so much that your skin tricks its oil glands to produce even more oil to compensate for it. Get a moisturizer that has mattifying properties. I love Garnier ShineFree MOisturizer with White Clay and Zinc. This stuff soaks up the shine in your face incredibly!
4. After 5 minutes wihthin applying moisturizer (you must give it time to absorb into the skin) apply your foundation. I find that if you apply a WHIPPED foundation with a DAMP sponge, you get a much more sheerer application. I love Covergirls TruBlend Whipped Foundation for its lightness, blendability, and MATTIFYING qualities. Though it feels kinda creamy, it definetly has a wonderful finish. You could also try powder foundation, but I find that unfortunately, as the day wears on, you have to reapply it because the color tends to change and the makeup sort of melts down. Whereas with whipped foundation, it actually sets in to your skins surface and lasts longer.
**After you have applied your foundation, set it with a loose translucent powder like Annabelles TruSkin powder. This stuff with make your skin last shinefree even longer and prevents makeup from sliding off.
**As the day wears on, you might end up getting a bit shiney Because there is no surefire way of going a day COMPLETELY shinefree if you have really really oily skin, I suggest you prepare yourself with oil-blotting papers. This stuff is waaay better than the powder, as it does not add more pore clogging makeup onto your face and will not look cakey. The papers will only remove the shine and not hte makeup, making you look fresh. This stuff is a life-saver and using just one will do you for the rest of the day.
*Hope this helps

I have super oily skin, especially on the t-zone, and i break out regulary a couple times a month
In the morning, I wash my face with Neutrogena Anti-Acne Face Wash the one in the orange bottle. but i only do that every other day. the other days in the morning, I use the Tea Tree Oil Face Wash from The Body Wash, it works wonders for oily skin
Then I wear Covergirl liquid makeup, it stays on all day without shining my face, if it still shines your face, it comes with a matching powder you could touch up with
in your purse or backpack, keep some blotting sheets. the best, but expensive ones are from The Body Shop, the Tea Tree Oil Blotting Sheets
In the evening I wash all my makeup off just with water, then I use either Neutrogena face wash or Tea Tree Oil Face Wash, not the one I used in the morning
Following this routine daily helps keep my face clear, pores healthy, and my nose/forehead shine free

Okay. First of all, switch foundations! Use something like Water Canvas Creme-To-Powder Foundation by Vincent Longo. It'll help de-shine your complexion.
Secondly, cleanse your face diligently very day with Soy Formula f21c Face Cleanser by Fresh. It will help you avoid future oiliness/breakouts. Use Rose Face Mask by Fresh once a week for a healthy glow. The Umbrian Clay Bar Treatment by Fresh is another good daily routine. Also, remember to always wash off your makeup before bed and to exfoliate your face at least twice a week (MD Skincare Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel or Sugar Face Polish by Fresh are both good.) All of these products you can get at Sephora.
For makeup, wear-mineral based to avoid shine. Use a creamy highlighter (Estee Lauder Heritage Collection Face Glow Compact or Rimmel Underground Dare to Bare Liquid Luminizer in You Glow Girl) on your cheekbones and dust your face with a loose, iridescent powder like L'Occitane Cherry Blossom Perfumed Body Powder or T. LeClerc Poudre Libre de Elegantes.
See a dermatologist if you continue having problems. Remember to be confident and happy with yourself no matter what. Hope this helps!

Theres lots of products out there that are for oily skin. Clinique has a good toner thats specifically for oil-control, and you can try pore minimizing lotions/moisturizers that will help close up pores.
I have very oily nasty skin too but Ive found that the best thing to do it take it off. There are these oil blotting sheets that are really cool and they take off all the oil without disturbing your makeup; I got mine at victorias secret that are the greatest, but you can find them almost anywhere, at sephora, macys, probably at drugstores too.

Use a clean, light make-up like L'Oreal true match. I like these because they're really light and feel velvety. The first thing you should do is use Noxzema to clean your face and suck up all the oils, then follow with a moisturizer like Oil of Olay, then the foundation, then apply face powder using a makeup brush. This keeps the powder application nice and light yet sets up your foundation for a nice finish. Then, if you use blush, apply it and all the other stuff. If you live in a place with high heat, then they sell oil blotting papers that sucks up your oil without ruining your makeup. Shisheido sells them. This is available at the Shisheido makeup counter in the mall in places like Macy's and others. When you're ready for bed, wash your face again with Noxema to clean off your face and rid of the oils before bed. This will help you to keep breakouts away too. Hope I helped you. I have oil skin too and I don't like that oiled up look either, lol. So, I know how you feel. This works for me really well. I hope it works for you.

Instead of using an oil-free foundation, try using a powder foundation. Neutrogena and almost every other skin care line out there makes one. It will absorb the oil in your skin and keep your face from getting greasy. You may need to reapply it 1 or 2 times a day, but it should work!

Neutrogena sucks, at least for my skin. Oil-blotting papers works. To control my oil, I put a clay mask twice a week.
