I am an Independent and have been. What to do? A third party doesn't stand a chance.
I agree with you. I'm at the end of my rope.

I think I am registered Independent ... but for reasons I can't explain here. I would only register Republican or Democrat if I felt any serious urge to vote in a party's primary. They ought to let Independents vote for either party's primary, but They--in order to stay a group--have to stay stupid, apparently.
But when you and I find a way to our own kingdom on Venus or -Mars, we can start us the Unity-of-Smart-People Party ... and no other parties will intervene, because we Smart People will be too busy with the Love to let anyone else in!
P.S. Kucinich almost isn't stupid, `coz he looks like a frog.

Got sick of them long ago. Registered Independent. Follow the money. As far as I'm concerned the top 4 candidates have been bought and paid for.

Been independent for years. FYI..for those who don't know, you can vote for anyone you like in any party as a registered independent.
Your vote does not have to go to the independent candidate.

Not me!
To vote Independent means your just
literally throwing away your vote because a
Independent party of any election will never win...
I'm really...really fed up with the
corrupt Rethugnikkklans....
There's a limit and they've gone beyond the limits...
IMPEACH THE WHOLE Rethugnikkklans Party!!!

Been independent or Libertarian for years. Though I will be switching to Republican just to vote for Paul in the primaries.

Check out Ron Paul. He is a strict Constitutionalist who has never voted to raise taxes, never voted for an unbalanced budget, etc. The rest of the Republicrats sound alike. Socialized medicine, more gov't interference in our lives, more special interest spending, blather, blather, blah! Watch some of the youtube videos of Ron Paul & his supporters. They are awesome.
Btw, I'm not on Paul's staff or anything, but I did volunteer (by web) to do calling for the camp.

Glad you asked, Lindsay.
I haven't voted major party for the last four elections; going backwards, I voted Nader, Nader, Nader and Perot.
Anyone who thinks we'll experience real change just by voting in a Democrat is delusional (unless that Democrat is Kucinich, and let's face it, he doesn't have good enough hair to suit the current Democratic party.)
Supposed "liberal" Bill Clinton flushed our middle class down the toilet when he signed NAFTA into law, which benefited Big Business and no one else.
There can't be a viable third party candidate unless we MAKE them viable, people. Vote Nader, vote Ron Paul...just please please please DON'T vote major party. Your vote is not wasted by you casting it for the best individual for the job!
