The best forecast will come from http://www.weather.gov
Weather underground's radar is the best for free.

You might wish to try
http://www.intellicast.com. This site has radar, satellite for U.S. cities and forecast for world cities. I am not sure whether this is the best for what you're interested in.

Have you seen weather.com's new interactive radar. It is amazing. Just type in your zip code and hit go. The interactive map is on the bottom right side of the page. www.weather.com/

Your local television station may have doppler radar that you can view live now, the one I see is called Doppler 8000. Most stations now have this advance technology.

I use my radio. I set it outside at night, in the morning I bring it in. If it is wet I know it is raining,
if it is dry I know it is pleasant. Two days ago it was missing and there has been no weather since.
