yup, they'll soak all that oil up. probably taste better too.

fasten 4 extra large bran muffins to a standard swiffer mop frame....
slather your muffins with fresh bran muffin batter...
swipe your muffin mop liberally over the oil stains, the muffins will soak up the oil readily
now here's the kicker, you CAN technically bake these muffins - but they will likely come out as one big loaf, and you will have to eat around the mop.....

Yes, but they must be real stale, and dry enough to absorb the oil.
