Who thinks that ppl should live celeberties (like paris hilton, lisley lohan, brittney spears) alone and stop being nosiy. Just because they are celeberties don't make them any different and they make mistakes too. If a person that isnt famous got a DUI, went to rehab, or cut all their hair off it wouldnt be all over the news or TV so they shouldnt worry about those celeberties that made a mistake, instead put important stuff on TV for example stopping global warming, crime, proverty, and sending the troops home.

I agree and disagree. I think a lot of the time we do go overboard about how much we talk about celebrities. At the same time, when you get into that kind of business you know exactly what you are getting into. It's just the world we live in. So I'm sorry that I am hard pressed to feel pity for the rich and spoiled. But as for putting more important stuff on TV, I do agree with you there.

well.. i wish everyone would leave me alone and im not even a celebrity.. now THAT is unfair.. but if these public figures(paris, lohan etc) gets their life on the spotlight, cant blame the media though coz it wont sell if people dont want it.. right?
If they chose that life n chose to be famous, they have to accept the consequences.
Yes everyone does time in jail and gets DUI-ed.. and believe me its on the news but their nobodys..so no one cares.. when a public figure gets caught...it makes hits.. so why when normal people hits the news, the celebrities shud be excluded?no fair man, no fair..
Plus..If they do good, they wanna tell the world and it actually spreads the world.....so then when its bad, u expect it to stay a secret??
I doubt it..
About global warming n such..we have hundreds of channels talking about the world, if u dont want to know about celebrities, stick to those environmentally friendsly channels..
and ur life would be dandy...dont u think?
Just a tot..

I think that while they are human as everyone else, most of their money comes from little girls who emulate their behavior. How would you feel if your daughter was arrested for DUI, made sex videos, and show her panty-less crotch every time she exited a car? These women are role models whether they wish to be or not. It's the price of fame. Furthermore, I don't care what they do as long as they aren't hurting anybody else. But when you get behind the wheel drunk, you endanger the lives of everyone else on the road. However, I will agree that too much focus is given to them instead far more important issues: WAR, Global warming, gas prices, terrorism, civil rights, etc etc.

Yes, cause celeberties have lives too. I'm sure it would be fun to be a celebreties, but if you are always being crowded around by a group of people, i'm sure i would get very annoyed.

I think Paris would die without the paparazzi following her around. Same with the others, probably. Do you know why it doesn't bother me that these girls are always being covered in the media? Because I don't read the reports. Thanks to the internet, I can spend my time getting real information about things that really interest me.

The thing is - the celebs WANT the attention, hon. If they didn't get it, they'd be frantic trying to find some way to get into the public eye. For example, it was Paris Hiltons' father who suggested she 'leak' the infamous sex tape so that she could break into Hollywood. Negative publicity is worth its weight in gold to them.

I do agree. It has to be a trip having the paparazzi and other media watching your every move. In a way I do feel sorry for them.

I agree with you and pay little if any attention to the news about the celebrities and their way of life. It is their business and not mine. As long as it's not hurting me then it is their life.

I agree with you in concept: I have no idea why people are so wrapped up in other people's lives: especially when those other people are total strangers.
