Not everyone will experience morning sickness, some ladies have it in the beginning, some at the end, and some throughout their whole pregnancy. I have 4 kids and only had morning sickness with one.

as far as stretch marks use cocoa butter after showering.

Well, my morning sickness really kicked in at about 7-8 weeks...I had the bad hunger pains early too...but I'd get nauseous instead of hungry...some women are lucky and never feel really sick! As for the stretch marks, I've heard that cocoa butter is good, there are also stretch mark creams on the market that claim to prevent them...but I've also heard that some women don't get any stretch marks and some do, no matter what...if you do get them, rest assured, they fade! Good luck!

Morning sickness hits everyone in different ways...I'm on my 2nd pregnancy and never had it at all. My friend still has hers and is 25wks. Some it may not hit till the end. All different.

I used a tall white bottle w/an orange lid at walmart..it was the cheapest...and didn't get any. My friend swore up and down on this expensive stuff and got them everywhere. I may have used mine bout once a week to two weeks. Pretty much if you're meant to get stretch marks you will. I really don't believe there's any lotion or cream out there to prevent them. My mom says that she heard somewhere that the more oils you naturally have in your skin can cause you not to get them. I have a bit of indian in me and that may be the reason why or maybe i'm just lucky. I just wouldn't go spend all your money on expensive lotions and not get the results you were hoping for. Congratulations on your pregnancy and hope all goes well!

i was so in the same boat!!! i have trouble riding in the car when i'm not pregnant... and now that i'm pregnant, even though i'm in the 2nd trimester, i CAN'T ride with anyone and still feel nauseous even if i drive :(. Try 1/2 a regular strength unisom with 25mg of b6 30 minutes before a car-ride. If this doesn't help ask you dr for a prescription of phenegen, its an amazing drug! but you can't drive while taking it, you will be pretty sleepy, i recommend 1/2 of a 25mg tablet 45 minutes before a car ride, and take the next dose about 30 minutes prior to the next scheduled time if you dr approved. Meaning, if its every 6 hours like mine... take it every 5.5 hours, and you don't have a lapse where you are sick which can create a viscous cycle! If this medication does not work for you, the next thing to try is Zofran or both drugs mixed- if you dr approves!!!! this is unfortunately what i had to do this pregnancy to go anywhere outside my home, a small dose of each medication combined helped me get to/through/from the grocery store.... but i certainly wasn't going out to any restaurants and still at 14 weeks i'm having trouble eating a large variety of foods!

Most people say morning sickness kicks in around week 6. But lots of people never get any - I haven't, and neither have four of my girl friends. I just feel a little green sometimes. You can get really ferociously hungry during pregnancy, though - to the point where you could attack someone for their food, LOL! I think it's nature's way of making sure we get enough fuel for the baby.
As for stretch marks, Kiss My Face Olive Oil Cream worked wonders for a girl friend of mine, or try jojoba oil.

If you're lucky your husband will have it for you. That's what I did. :-) Some women never have it. Some have it all the way through. Chances are you might be similar to your Mom. If you can, ask her how she was when she was carrying you. Nothing prevents stretch marks.

i never got morning sickness - try all the magic potions you want nothing prevents stretch marks - it is determined more by genes, rate of growth, weight gained, etc. although keeping your skin hydrated will make it a lot more comfortable and less itchy

For me, it was around six weeks, and the hunger pangs made it much, much worse. My advice would be to never let yourself get hungry. Eat small, frequent meals (at least every 2 hours.) I would have peanut butter toast, cheese and crackers, cereal...anything to avoid those hunger pangs.

8-12 weeks is the norm. Some people get it sooner though.

I would try palmers coco butter lotion!
