This is a serious question. What is the difference between a spirit and a poltergeist. I live in Columbus Ohio. Do you know of anyone I can call?

1. How can you tell if your house is haunted?
--Please say a prayer asking for Protection, Guidance, and Healing and ask for an answer, then meditate or day-dream on the subject. You will receive an answer--"Ask and you shall receive"!
--If you discover that indeed your house is haunted, proceed to step # 2.
2. Find out if the entity is friendly towards you and other occupants of your house--again say your favoured prayer, ask, meditate, and thank for the answer.
3. If you have a friendly being bless it and learn to live with it,
4. If the being is unfriendly--consider a change of residences, but keep in mind that poltergeists tend to follow the agents, or seek professional help. I hope it helps.

This is not a silly answer. Ask it if it is haunted. Spirits are just there, the Ploters want to be the center of attention. Just ignore them and they usually go away.

A ghost just move around and do nothing but they also create cold spots... A demon will make itself know thru nosies and them calling out your name.. And movement of almost any that could be in your home and well as create cold and hot spots and they have a certain odor that will remove all doubt about them being there... Now as for poltergeist... They will leave messes break things throw things and cause all kinds of accidents in your home...............................

Poltergeist are very mischevious and know for breaking things, setting fires, harassing, etc.
Call The Atlantic Paranormal Society. They'll come to you and investigate your house for free(no lie). And they use technology instead of psychics.

poltergeist are ghosts qho are michevious and tried to hurt u intentionally...spirit are sometimes good ppl that haunts the house either for boredom or wateva or even tried tofind their murderer if they were ever murdered. so spirits are ok..but..for p's...u better watch out

if your house is haunted then why in the world did you move in in the first place second spirit and poltergeist are the same thing the worst problem you have is you cannot get rid of them period my advice to you is. the only way you could tell if its haunted if you hear foot steps or someone slams the door fast or you here strange noise at night or hear or see things that are not there hear noise or hear things or notice strange movements i hope i could help bye. good luck

I think if your house was haunted you would know it, or be pretty sure. I would just ignore it. Spirits can't hurt you unless you let them, I think.
