Will a wireless pc card work while I'm on a cruise?

I would like to know if a wireless pc card would work so I can acess the internet while I'm on a cruise. Help please?

Well, that really depends on the ship. If they have a satellite link to the internet AND a wireless router broadcasting throughout the ship, the answer is yes.

If there is no link, or no wireless router, then you're out of luck.

The card will work, that is not the real question.

You probably will not get onto the internet however unless the ship has the Internet piped through the ship either via wireless or wired connection.
