Moving to Panama City, FL?

My husband and I are looking to relocate to Panama City or a surrounding area. We are a young military couple. What are some good places to buy a home? Not gheto, but affordable.

I was stationed there in the 70's.The areas most military people looked for houses or apartments were in Parker,Springfield,Callaway,and Lynn Haven.

Lynn Haven has many older block homes that are built well and affordable. 175,000 is the lower end of this type. Most of the neighborhoods are nice. The location is very good. 30- 40 minutes from TAFB and 20-30 minutes from NCSS.
