Hi and good morning...Good question..'why are we here'? ..Well in my opinion and due to my beliefs, God created man/woman and placed them here on earth to fulfill their destiny according to His plan. Now I realize that other individuals have their own views and concepts concerning this issue but this is my opinion. Why did God choose 'earth' per say? why not Mars or Saturn? We will never know. God had His own ideals where He wanted creation to begin. Now according to some stories, humans weren't the first of Gods creations but His Angels were. This is another story for controversy. Was the idea of humans not even thought of until the Angels started their war in heaven.? Or were 'us' humans the cause of the war in Heaven? We won't know that answer either. So the question remains 'Why are we here'? Maybe the answer is in the 'Holy Book' or maybe that's a question only to be answered by God. Have a very blessed day!

Each person comes into this world with a specific destiny--he has something to fulfill, some message has to be delivered, some work has to be completed. You are not here accidentally--you are here meaningfully. There is a purpose behind you. The whole intends to do something through you.
Your soul mission is your reason for being, your life purpose. It's your calling in life--who you feel called to be, what you feel called to do. Mission is an energy that flows through you--a drive, voice, or passion that you cannot ignore... It's what you know in your heart you must live if you are to experience inner peace and harmony.
Maybe you are having a spiritual awakening, so with that the questions you are now looking for answers, I guess it is time for you to read and meditate to find what you are searching for : )
We all come on a journey for experiences for personal growth our soul has to grow through one life time to another
It is a souls urge to come and have this journey you answers are within you meditate if you don't I guess it is time for you to learn.
I will leave you with this message below because I feel it maybe you next question who is God : )
Wouldn't it be wonderful if we had a world where everybody said, 'We don't know?' The fact is that you're surrounded by God and you don't see God, because you KNOW ABOUT God. The final barrier to the vision of God is your God concept. You miss God because you think you know. The highest knowledge of God is to know God as unknowable. All revelations, however divine, are never any more than a finger pointing at the moon. As we say in the East, 'When the sage points to the moon,
all the idiot sees is the finger'.

The physics of this universe allows certain interactions of fundamental particles. Out of this developed stars and planets. On the planet that we know about, the element carbon was the building block that started organic molecules and eventually life. Life then evolved into higher forms, and here we are.
Now some may say that the humans devolved from the apes, but there is no such word. I hope we find life on Mars or one of the moons of the gas giants. Maybe people would realize you can't take religious works literally and stop these wars of religion.

You are extremely blessed to be asking this type of question. God made the earth a wonderfully an beautifiul creation. That for SOME reason won't stop creating. Stay right. You may be asking for someone who needs you.

We are the result of millions of years of evolution. When the Earth was created from dust particles and chunks of meteors, one-celled organisms started to form. From there the world evolved to what it has become today.

To learn lessons.
Think about how much you've grown in the time you've been here.
Through our experiences, our character grows, sometimes through pain, sometimes through joy.

I don't think that question can ever really be answered to everyones satisfaction. What I do is choose why I am here and act as if that is the reason. Thus I create my own reason for being.
