Could be lots of things.... the catalitic (spell?) converter could be bad.. happened to me.

It could be the throttle position sensor (in the throttle body). If this checks out then it could be too much exhaust back pressure from the catalytic convertor. More common on small engines driven often in a city environment.

They should be able to run a diagnoses on the engine to rule out any electrical sensors. IF the fuel pressure is correct and there are no defective engine sensors then you have to look at the exhaust/cat convertor.

Is the check engine light on? Did you also change the fuel filter, and you could have a bad injector, bad wires, or plugs...let me know if I can help you check these things before you spend more money.

Install new air cleaner and put some fuel injector cleaner in the gas.

It's your transmission. Start your car, pop the hood and check and see how much transmission fluid you have. My car did that and all I had to do was put lots of transmission fluid in it because I didn't have any
