Click on the "Start" button at the bottom left side of your screen. Then click on "Control Panel." You will see "Folder Options" and you have to double click on that. You will see three tabs at the top of the screen, the middle being "view." About half way down the list you'll see the option to "show hidden files and folders." Click on that and then you should see your hidden folder.

If you know the name of the folder you hid, go to your search section on your computer, type in the name of the file and make sure that your advance seach section has every item checked then click OK, it should be able find any file hidden or not.

first, you open up any folder you have
click tools - folder option
click on the view tab
choose show hidden files and folders
and apply - OK
now find your hidden folder....it will appear abit transparent
when you found it, right click on the folder and go properties
uncheck the hidden box
