write in terms of y=mx+b, where m is the slope and b is the intercept:

eqn. 1) y=3x-2; m=3, b=-2
eqn. 2)y=3x-2; m=3, b=-2

The slopes (m) are the same in both equations.

=> Parallel

first becomes y = 3x - 2, which is 1/2 the second. They are the same line.

As you only have one line (draw it!) the question is: is a line parallel to itself? And the answer is: no.
Parallel lines do not have any point in comum.

No. They are the same line. This system is said to be consistent and dependent. It has infinitely many solutions.
