easy, disconnect the battery (you can risk shorting out your ignition module if you dont)then remove plug wires and unscrew the two bolts which fasten the coil pack to the ignition module then replace and dont tighten the bolts to tight they will break reconnect wires and the battery and you will be fine

The coil pack is on the "front" of the engine, right behind the radiator fans. Number the spark plug wires then disconnect them from the 3 separate coils. They are attached to the ignition control module and engine block by six long screws. You will need to buy or borrow a special 1/4" drive 5.5mm hex socket to unscrew them. Replace the coils only one at at a time since they also hold the ICM in place; if you remove all six screws at once it will fall off and re-aligning it with those tiny little threaded holes is a MAJOR pain in the butt!

You can test the suspicious coil with a volt/ohmmeter quite easily to find out. Set the range to the highest resistance available then touch the test probes first to the two high voltage spark plug connections. If you get a reading it's good; if there's no change in the display it's bad (burned out). Now turn the coil over and test the low-voltage terminals on the back; again, if voltage flows it's OK, and if the resistance reading doesn't change, it's bad. Lastly touch one probe to either high voltage plug terminal and the other probe to either one of the low voltage primary terminals. There should be no voltage flow at all; if there is the coil is bad (shorted). BTW: when performing these tests it's important that you do NOT touch the metal tips of the probes! Doing so can cause false positive readings.

take off the spark plug wires, be sure to #them, and the coil pack should have 4 or so screws holding it down. Just unscrew and replace with new pack. reinstall plug wires correctly. It is very easy and anyone can do this
