what cannot be answered. Instead of having many religions each trying in a different way to answer questions to which we will never know the answers (at least not in this life), why don't we just admit that we don't know. That, incidentally, is the one area where an intelligent atheist and an intelligent Christian could find common ground. Admit you don't know.
(And now will come the answers from people who will insist that they do know. Some people can't even be honest with themselves!)

Religious fundamentalism is all to blame for this situation in our world today. Fundamentalism is defined as “the practice of asserting the absolute truth of your own beliefs and practices to the deliberate exclusion of the possibility of truth in the beliefs and practices of others.” Based on this definition, one can conclude that Fundamentalism is nothing but bigotry and religious intolerance. Fundamentalism, of whatever shape of form, is a deadly poison in human relations – resulting in rancor, strife -- and in the extreme -- hatred, violence and genocide.

Who do you think is behind the war in Iraq?

I could not have put it any better than you did kudos for this it was great because like you said we will never have a definitive answer not in this life time at least;
And every religion will always have there own answer to the exact same question me I get mine from the bible the ones who walked with Jesus,and wrote the old testament.
Well I will say this and it is my own opinion the people who Say they know and this is from the bible are the anti-Christ because Jesus and God,are the only truly ones who no and that is it bar none the others like us we can only guess and assume and that is the way it will be to the end of time for us when we will get the real answers for sure.

Science is limitless in it's scope, capability, and knowledge. Anything and everything that is possible can be discovered and known, will it? Well I have no idea.

So I guess I agree with your statement because we honestly can't know. I think that some people's view of religion (ie: Islamic/Christian fundamentalists) is ridiculous. But as far as I know, there might be a God, or there might not be.
