I think they should change from MTV to RTV, because those Reality Shows! Don't you think?

When it first started in the early 80's, all they played were music videos. Then the DJ's started having interviews with different musical acts and they slowly started incorporating shows. Btw, the first video to play was Video Killed The Radio Star by the Buggles.

Because when MTV first came out, they actually showed videos ALL day. Now, if you want to watch videos, your best bet is MTV2 in the mornings.

Yuup pretty much. But if you're lucky enough to get the english version of the European MTV you're good. Because they do actually show videos all day. I know.. you're in shock... but it's true.

they used to be all music then they came up with all these reality shows that are breaking people up. now they only have music videos in the morning then they have trl

They used to play music, but now the only thing television networks think is worth airing are popularity contests. It's so trashy.

cuz they used to be all music in the 80's or even i guess in the 90's they would show the whole video on TRL. until they decided to stop showing it during the hours anyone was awake adn decided to show crappy scrpited dating shows
