Is it cool that he gets irritated w/ me when I am on Yahoo Answers and he's trying to talk to me, because I unintentionally ignore him?

Are you sure it's unintentionally?
Either he's wants to talk to you every time you're on yahoo answers?
or
You using this to ignore him.
Compromise, each of you deserve your private time and time to share.

Does he try to talk to you only when you get on the computer? If that's the case, maybe he's feeling intimidated by what he's perceiving you to do on the computer/Internet. Orrrr, do you get on the computer while in the middle of a conversation with him? In that case and my opinion, you're being rude.

To counter all of this, possible get him involved with the Ask session. Or talk about it; get him to confront this feeling and then you two can come to a consensus because if you really don't know that you're doing something wrong then you'll continue doing it, right?! Good luck...

Sounds to me that your husband is craving your undivided attention. He should take presidence over any yahoo program. He doesn't like feeling second fiddle and probably would enjoy quality time with you. Communication is a very vital requirement in marriage and quality time with you may be his love language. Some people feel loved by touch, acts of service or words of affirmation. Apparently quality time with his wife in conversation is you showing him that you love him.

Would you get angry if it was the other way around? I believe so. I know I would. So, I would say, although not "cool", perfectly understandable.
