Is the pain mostly in your back? If so, baby may have turned the wrong direction...(your baby should be facing your back, not your belly). If you have a birth ball, try kneeling down and leaning forward on the ball, that should take some of the pressure off your back. Your dr can tell you if baby is facing backwards or not...(its not a terrible thing, but it can cause back pain). good luck!

Take a hot bath, drink a lot of water. Then lie down for an hour. If it continues, call your doctor or midwife.

My son was born at 37 wks. he is perfect.
