u don't have to, knowing u didn't fulfill that promise is only on u, it doesn't hurt the feelings of someone else or give other people reasons to not trust what u say. A promise to yourself is only a strategy to reach a goal. U don't have to feel as guilty about it either because u can improve on it the next time.

is d promise about me nt talkin g to my gal till I reach a preset goal.. hell yaa i wud break it.. coz its hard to keep..
If I promise myself I will not spend to much money on my friends.. I will break it coz its hard to keep when ur surrounded by friends all the time....
If I promise myself I will quit smoking ..I will try very hard to keep it coz it not only helps my health but also helps the people around me...
If I promise myself I will spend less time on the web , I will try very very hard to kep it coz it takes away a lot of my time, which can otherwise be spent on much more beneficial things..
so its not always an YES or a NO.. theres always two sides to a coin and u cant decide correctly which side to go with when u r not the coin tosser...
