How many of you think that the US Government is to blame?

2007-07-29 12:26:32 · 23 answers · asked by Molly Leandra 1 in Politics & Government Government

"Islam is the true culprit, no lame conspiracy theory."

How can a religion be held responsible? Hmmm? Please... enlighten me.

I will not make my personal views on the situation known. I am only asking this question because I am curious to know what YOU all think, so please stop acting as if I've stated my own opinion here.

The people responsible were the SOBs who planned, financed and carried out the attack on this nation.
The thing the US government did was bury its head in the sand and not listen to those who were more knowledgable than they were and could be considered naive. National Security Advisor at the time Condoleeza Rice's background was in dealing with Cold War entities such as old war USSR and she had not changed her mind set even after the Aug PDB. In fact she was supposed to have delivered a speech on 9/11 which was dealing with USSR and its assets etc.

It could be 2 choices
False Flags - Goverment caused it and then blamed it on somebody else to get the support of it's own people
Terrorist - Which are truly responsible for the 9/111 attacks
( and the government won't dismiss those conspiracy because it makes them look stronger like they can do anything )

I believe it was Bin Laden and his AlQueada Group that did the physical deed. Why didn't we more actively go after him instead of Saddam. The man who caused it is still alive, but Bush's Dad's arch enemy is dead. I think the 9/11 attack was used as retribution. It gave Bush a real good reason to go to war, which I believe he planned to do even before 9/11. If that didn't happen , he still would have gone into Iraq after Saddam. Don't get me wrong, Saddam was a very bad man and the government's spin is, "Well, isn't it great that we took out such a horrible man?"
He wasn't the one who killed our Americans on 9/11, it was Bin Laden. Hasn't there been proof of that.. Why is he still running around?
Because the government couldn't profit from his death as they could from Saddam's.

“[T]here was just an explosion [in the south tower]. It seemed like on television [when] they blow up these buildings. It seemed like it was going all the way around like a belt, all these explosions.”--Firefighter Richard Banaciski

“I saw a flash flash flash [at] the lower level of the building. You know like when they demolish a building?”--Assistant Fire Commissioner Stephen Gregory

“[I]t was [like a] professional demolition where they set the charges on certain floors and then you hear 'Pop, pop, pop, pop, pop'."--Paramedic Daniel Rivera

These are just a few of the testimonies finally released in August, 2005 from first responders at the WTC Towers.
How could the Jetliner crashes and fires alone have caused molten steel, large pieces of steel to be thrown great distances (as the Towers collapsed straight down) and account for numerous explosions in the basement (before the Jetliners even impacted!) and on different floors just before the collapses?

The official stories put forth in both the 9/11 Commission Report (Philip Zelikow, who wrote the final draft of National Security Council Statement in 2002, was the director and set the agenda for both the investigation and the report), Popular Mechanics and the NIST (Bush government) papers are coverups that are full of omissions and contradictions.

I believe the U.S. government participated in - or, at least, knew about - the 9-11 'terrorist attacks'. I find it naive to believe otherwise when you consider how many times the U.S. government has lied to us in the past:
* Events in Roswell, NM in 1947 have never been satisfactorily explained, especially to those who were there and witnessed it;
* The Warren Commission was whitewash of the Kennedy assassination, and then documents were sealed until 2038 when most of us who were there won't be here;
* The U.S. government lied about U-2 spy planes being flown over the U.S.S.R. until Khrushchev shot one down and displayed it for all the world to see;
* The U.S. government lied about our battleships being 'attacked' in the Gulf of Tonkin, which led us into the Vietnam War;
* The U.S. government lied about a third-rate burglary at the Watergate Hotel until two enterprising reporters dug out the truth and caused a U.S. President to resign;
* The U.S. government lied about the effects of Agent Orange on our Vietnam veterans;
* The U.S. lied about trading hostages for weapons until a scandal known as the Iran-Contra affair came to light;
* The U.S. lied about 'weapons of mass destruction' which led us into an unconstitutional, illegal, unjustifiable, immoral 'war' with another sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States;
* The U.S. government lied about secret CIA prisons;
* The U.S. government lied about torture and sexual abuse of 'detainees' that were in direct violation of the rules of the Geneva Convention, to which the U.S. is a signatory;
* The U.S. government lies everyday about the integrity and credibility of our public servants, especially those in Congress who spend taxpayers' money like drunken sailors.
WHY would it be so difficult to assume that the United States government had something to do with 9-11?? It provided the perfect excuse for invading Iraq so that we could protect our "national interests" (interpret that to mean, "Why is all OUR oil underneath all THEIR sand?")

a small subversive group

note one factor against the conspiracy theories.

there were 4 planes

in one of the planes the passengers themselves foiled the operation and the plane crashed far from the supposed target. that makes conspiracy more outlandish.

(smoking a cigarette) It was caused from second hand smoke of course, like everything else that we smokers are blamed for. The second hand smoke in the far eastern country's entered through the nose and up to the brain of the bad guys and I'm sure they will plead insanity when they are caught.

When afterall it was 'you and me'.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please allow me to introduce myself
Im a man of wealth and taste
Ive been around for a long, long year
Stole many a mans soul and faith
And I was round when jesus christ
Had his moment of doubt and pain
Made damn sure that pilate
Washed his hands and sealed his fate
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But whats puzzling you
Is the nature of my game
I stuck around st. petersburg
When I saw it was a time for a change
Killed the czar and his ministers
Anastasia screamed in vain
I rode a tank
Held a generals rank
When the blitzkrieg raged
And the bodies stank
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name, oh yeah
Ah, whats puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, oh yeah
I watched with glee
While your kings and queens
Fought for ten decades
For the gods they made
I shouted out,
Who killed the kennedys?
When after all
It was you and me
Let me please introduce myself
Im a man of wealth and taste
And I laid traps for troubadours
Who get killed before they reached bombay
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah
But whats puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, oh yeah, get down, baby
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah
But whats confusing you
Is just the nature of my game
Just as every cop is a criminal
And all the sinners saints
As heads is tails
Just call me lucifer
cause Im in need of some restraint
