To me that is the most boneheaded move to date by this adminstration.
Saudis have been pouring in over the Iraqi borders and helping in the insurgency and ultimately the attacks on our soldiers.
Just great, Bush will sell arms to the Saudis which will probably end up killing our boys. No way in hell should we give them any arms at all no matter what the excuse right now.

Well yes the terrorists are usually Saudi, but selling weapons makes an absolute fortune - and the Saudis can do no wrong as long as there's a drop of oil left in their country.
You forget that money is FAR more important than common sense to just about every government.

the U. S. governments sturdy reason is by the prospect of Iran!! Haha. the U. S. government does not concern springing up conceivable lies anymore simply by fact the human beings do no longer care. Afghanistan became "evil" considering they had an Authoritarian government that used Sharia regulation and became in contact in 9/11. Saudi Arabia is a super best chum considering's none of those issues (sarcasm). i believe the reason they did it is simply by fact the U. S. and Saudi have had an prolonged relationship and Saudi desires the U. S. to maintain it is monetary gadget and vice versa. The Saudi / US relationship is extra significant than the U. S. / Israeli relationship. it is the reason the U. S. media constantly ignores that maximum the 9/11 hijackers have been Saudi, the money got here from Saudi, their chief is Saudi royalty, etc...

BushCo Military Industrial Complex to selling 30 billion of weapons to both Saudi Arabia and Israel.
The $63 Billion Sham

Having destroyed Iraq to save us from horrors that did not exist, Rice now wants to save us from Iran’s future nukes by selling American weapons of mass destruction. Over the next decade, the Bush administration wants to give Israel $30 billion in military aid, a nearly 43 percent increase over what that nation received over the last 10 years, according to The New York Times. We want to give $20 billion to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. We want to give Egypt $13 billion.
Do you feel safe?
Note: Is Israel violating the requirements for section 102(b) of the Arms Control Export Act?

Why is all aid to Israel is not illegal, since foreign aid legislation from 1977 clearly bars funds to any country that secretly develops nuclear weapons?

Saudi Arabia (and Iran) are sending money and arms from Middle East to Pakistan, from Bosnia to Kosovo, from Britain to US, supporting fundamentalists everywhere. Everybody knows that, but the US government has no ba..s to say no to them and is hardly running the country at all. Look how many lobbyists work in Washington today.

The U.S. has been selling military hardware for years. Their Air Force has been flying American fighters forever. In Desert Storm they downed several of Saddams fighters running for the Iranian border.

The people who deal in arms are the same people who own the politicians in the US and a lot of other countries. They don't give a rat's *** about anything except making money.
