Okay I have had 3 m/c's only one required a D&C that was in Jan. I got a period in Feb. and got preg. in March. The doc. is right a D&C is surgery on the uterus and cervix so the spotting could be from that. Likely the blood is comming form the cervix which maybe a little scared so sex, and exams and ultra sound done vaginaly will likely irrate the cervix which is ripe and very sentive during pregnancy anyway and will probably bleed a little too. It's like when you pick at an old scab. I'm 23 weeks along with a healthy baby boy. I'm high risk now so I get checked every 2 weeks from now till when he comes and guess what I still spot from time to time. No biggie. Good idea to post the question to women who miscarrded only everyone gives out there 2 cents and has no clue what the hell they are talking about. I got preg. 6 weeks after my m/c and spotted on and off the whole time so I'm sure you will be fine I know it's scary though. Hope things go better this time around. Make sure that spotting dose not increse to a flow of blood and watch for any pain or cramping. Best wishes.

I had a miscarriage and got pregnant again within 2 months of it. I spotted blood alot in the beginning. Then when I was 4 months pregnant, I hemorraged from placenta previa. I wound up having him when i was 30 wks pregnant. He weighed 2 lbs, but he is 13 now and very healthy. Not sure if the miscarriage and getting pregnant right after had anything to do with those problems though. Good luck and dont worry to much, stress is bad for the baby!

Never had a d&c, but have had a miscarriage. Also had 2 pregnancies with some bleeding (7-8 weeks, and 5 months) and gave birth to healthy full term children.
So for me it went first healthy, normal pregnancy.
Second some bleeding at 5 months, full term healthy daughter.
Third, some bleeding at 7-8 weeks, full term healthy son.
Fourth, early miscarriage (9 weeks) bleeding from week 4.
Fifth, full term healthy daughter, no bleeding.
So whether the bleeding is the start of a miscarriage I can't tell you. But I can tell you that's not always the case.

I have 3 healthy children and between child 2 and 3 had I had 3 miscarrages. I spotted with child #2, I thought it was a period..and then throughout the pregnancy with her, but she turned out fine(born 3 days before due date with no issues. With my miscarrages, it was not spotting. The blood was very dark and heavy. It must be nerve racking to have to go through that, but hopefully everything will work out for you. Good luck.

There are women who have perfectly healthy babies after a miscarriage. You should share any concerns about another miscarriage with your doctor and I am pretty sure that your doctor will know if anything is wrong. Good luck and don't worry and everything will go fine.
