The Demos want it to go to the poorest of the people (which in my mind is the best way to spend it) and the Repubs want it to go to the wealthiest (those that don't need the money). You also see it going to bolster their special interest groups. If you think the Repugnicans are the only ones that do this, you might want to look closer.

We always get the lesser of two evils in most elections. But for my money, funding for the poor is the best way to insure you have a better population. The rich already have enough.

Dem's spending on infrastructure and social makes the whole of things better and provides safety net fro the middle class too.

I think it's actually different. I think the Democrats would have gone into Iraq as well and enter into the War on Terror, however they would've stopped right until it was politically unpopular.

I think the United States needs a two-tier system. Plus I haven't heard a Republican "scream the blues" about health care.
