Childbirth Class?

We are set to go to the childbirth class in the next couple of weeks, what can we expect once we get there? Are they going to show the video, I don't know if my husband will be able to handle all that,

Every class is different...the one I attended did not show "the video". ha ha! Our instructor had a model of the pelvic bone/birth canal and showed us w/ a doll how it works...they also went over breathing/relaxation techniques, pain relief options (they showed the epidural needle...that was enough to confirm that I wanted natural childbirth..ha ha)...they tell you when you should go to the hospital and basics like that...if you are worried about "the video", call and ask if they do that! Good luck!!!

I took a childbirth class when I was pregnant with my 1st and I don't remember them showing a video. But all classes are different. But personally I wouldn't take another class only because you don't really use anything that they teach. Breathing didn't help me when I was in that much pain.

My wife and I did NOT see any videos, however, there will be much more information than just having the baby. It is helpful he should go.

they are used to this. trust them, they can deal with scared dads. they have done this many times and they know that some guys are really scared. they will make it easy.
