Nigeria, a country with full of SCAM artists.

Quite a lot. I live in Nigeria (in Africa).
What specifically would you like to know?

Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa and Lagos is Africa's biggest city.

The general picture is that the country is and has been mismanaged for years with billions of oil money flowing into the pockets of the elite rather than benefiting the general population, which must endure a lousy infrastructure (terrible roads, frequent black outs if any electricity at all), a lousy health care and public education. The list goes on and o.

The country's population is (roughly) half Muslim and half Christian. The south-eastern part (the Niger Delta) is highly dangerous for white as so far this year over 150 have been kidnapped.

I was born in Nigeria too bad I came when the country was in its full glory. I am from Delta state in the Niger Delta area. I know that the country is supposed to be one of the top 20 economies in the world by 2020. This I would like to contribute to Nigeria has a lot of business potential no matter what people say. I have visited often and plan on retiring there. There are lot of scam artists but do not let that ruin your possible visit or friendship with Nigerians. It would not be fair for people to hate Americans because most of them they met no nothing about the world so why should people hate all Nigerians. I and everybody else can tell you what we know and think but experience is the best way to go.

So not a lot of useful and serious answers.

Anyway, Nigeria is a very dangerous country nowadays. Mainly because of rebel groups like MEND and crooked politicians. If you're thinking about traveling to Nigera, do not. They would kidnap anybody, especially American. They've kidnapped politicians, oil-workers, Americans, Lebanese, etc.

A lot of African countries could have a bright future if the problem is solved now. Africa is a crooked person's playground. Maybe a possible United States of Africa?

It's a run down African country that likes to scam people a lot with dodgy emails saying some rich person died in a plane crash leaving $150 million. The also like to throw themselves in front of your car and then when you stop to get out and make sure they are all right they then steal your car.

the capital used to be Lagos but was then changed to Abuja.
The vice president has a great name: Goodluck Jonathon
It is the 12th largest producer of petroleum.

it is a very multicultural country yes there are scams but do not fall for the scams it is nothing to worry about as long as you ignore them. Every country has there own little black covering and that is ours hopefully it should be clear one day my generation is working on that.
