Well, this is an interesting question considering most of what we know about this substance comes from brainwashing, it all started ages ago when someone decided that Mexican people shouldn't be allowed into the US and as an interesting deterrent decided to make a weed they brought with them illegal.....and the story goes on, and on....
What we do know? We know this drug works for depression, glaucoma, nausea for Chemo patients, it's the only drug out there that works on nerve pain, great for those with bone cancer and MS, it works on the pain for arthritis too....so where's the problem? Oh, I remember, someone made it illegal. It's less addictive than tobacco, won't hurt the lungs as much, does cause a major case of the munchies, especially for sugar and salt. Oh yes, and it makes you sleepy. To answer your question, I prefer it in pill form, legally, I don't like to smoke it, I've tried baking with the hash and the results are way too unpredictable. There is no way to test the product because it's not regulated, but I hear the best bud is from BC.
I've looked at this from both sides now, the paperwork to obtain it legally in Canada is a 25 page document, 5 or so your doctor has to fill out and they don't know how, and the product you can purchase from our government is of dubious quality. I just vote we legalize it, let the government collect the taxes and save ourselves a lot of hassle....everyone is using it anyhow.

Dude, I smoked for a long time and wished I wouldn't have. Yea, it may be fun at the time, but over the long period it can weaken your memory. Plus smoking weed can give guys gynocomastia. Pot is hard on your lungs and stores in your fatty cells. Quit while you are still young and you'll be glad you did when you get older.

There are pros only if you use it the way it was intended...as a medicine...boil the leaves and make a poltice to cure a boil...the rope is amazingly strong..and the effects of the herb are excellent for calming cancer ailments and eye elements not to mention MS and several other diseases....
cons...weak minded people use it then go to other things..and give it a bad name.
and the government cant tax it to it is illegal...
