Okay, so my relatives are going to Guatemala and i'm going too. Since i don't want to leave it alone, does the airport allow turtles to go with passengers? If they do, what do i put it in?

You don't say if this is a vacation or a permanent move. There are quarantine periods for animals being taken into other countries. Some as long as 6 mos. If it just a vacation, you can see how this isn't going to work. If a permanent move, it still seems impractical. Contact the airline for advice.

I don't think so. Unless you want to move it there it isn't worth the hassle or stress of making it go through all the animal transportation cautions that the airport has, and it would have to be with the other pets in a special part of the plane. Trust me, I was gonna get a ferret from Louisiana ( I live in California). People told me it would take 4 - 6 months to get it back. But I don't know if that is true. Get someone to watch over it.

You have to check with the airline, every airline is different. Don't forget to check with customs in Guatemala, most places have strict rules on bring or taking animals into their boarders.
If you can, then but it in a box with very little water. They will feel more comfortable in water. Most pet stores have those little plastic boxes to carry pets that might be good to use. Bu first check with both customs and the airline.

Every airline is different. You will have to contact the airline and see what their policy is and see if they allow pets as carry on or if they have to be put in with the cargo area.

If its smaller than a quart put it in a jar - otherwise just put it in your pocket and wait for the surprises.
