I use a washcloth everytime I shower, is it unsanitary or unsafe to leave the damp washcloth on the little bar in the shower for a day or 2? I change it with a clean washcloth about 3-4 times a week...should I use a clean one each time?

I always reuse it once. It's clean... i just used it with soap, and then rerinsed it, so all it has to do is dry.

I would definetly change it everytime you wash or have a spare because there may be left over soap which could also have dirt in it you wouldn't have to put it in the washer right away if you had a spare or a couple spares you never know what's on the washcloth after you shower

I use a clean wash cloth each time I shower or bathe;
I hang the used on on the towel rack to dry and then throw it in the laundry chute to wash .
I figure the old one has to be dirty, after all I used it all over my body to clean off dirt, sweat, etc. and the water in the shower isn*t hot enough to clean it well like the washing machine.

Just make sure you rinse it out good and hang it up to dry. I usually reuse a washcloth at least once.

You should always use a clean washcloth. That's one way to prevent the spread of staph or other germs. Good luck. 2D

Don't see why? Just make sure you rinse it well and hang so it dries so not to get musty.
