1. Yes and No. Any high school freshmen knows America is a Representitive Democracy or a Democratic Republic.
2. If you don't like it, leave.
3. Stolen election? Do I detect a sore loser? I admit I like how the elction turned out, but even if it had swung the other way I wouldn't stoop so low as to make up conspiracy theories. Seriously, it was 7 years ago AND he was re-elected. Move one.
4. Have you ever read the USA PATRIOT Act? I have. You should do it some time. Most the country has the totally wrong impression.
5. Have a good day. And enjoy your kool-aid. lol

the United States is a republic, not a democracy.
Ya gotta wonder what is wrong with the schools these days that so many people make this mistake ... oh, yeah! What's wrong with the schools is that they're government run and have been captured by the Teacher's Unions.
:-)
{Btw, the liberal owned Miami Herald newspaper ran the "unofficial" recount of the 2000 election -- and even they concluded that President Bush had won. By something like 145 votes. Of course, it took them until the following April to do their recount ... which seems a bit late given that the President assumes office in January.}

No it is a Republic.
The 2000 election was attempted to be stolen by Al Gore. Once the Sec of State certifies it, the election is over. He was the one trying to get recounts in democrat heavy counties. He was the one who clearly violated the state law

It's not a democracy, it's a republic with free elections. A true democracy is what they practice in New England town hall meetings where all the citizens particpate in running the gov't.

*yawn* Liberal bumber-sticker arguments grow old and amorphous year after year...
And no, we're not a democracy; we're a Federal Constitutional Republic. If we truly were a democracy, we'd be running over to the voting booth every day to decide on silly things that we have no time to worry about. That's what representatives are for.

After you say the 2000 election was stolen, there is nothing you could possibly say after that, that would even sound remotely intelligent. Bush won the election under the guidelines of the Constitution, get over it.

wow, Bush won the election in 2000 fair and square, right after the Supreme court stopped the recount? Of course the Republicans were deathly afraid of any recount, So yes they stole the 2000 election. As for the 2004 election, who would trust voting machines owned by the Republican head of elections in Ohio ( although his company owned the voting machines, and it had been shown how the machines programs changed votes). This has been proven, and as an outsider who watched you elections from afar, I can't believe how the right side blindly believes everything that the likes of Limbaugh, O'Rielly, and Hannity espouse. The right wing keep telling the liberals to drink the Kool-aid ( I assume a cult reference to Jim Jones, but if anyone is indulging it is the right.
