If someone is up at-bat with someone in scoring position , and during that AB .. the guy gets thrown out at 3rd, or scores on a wild pitch and then there's nobody left in scoring position.. does that AB still count as an RISP at-bat?

yeah, I didn't necessarily mean that the baserunner made the last out.. just he made an out and then whatever result the hitter gets eventually.

no because there was no one on when he put the ball in play/struck out.

only if the hitter gets out or hits or whatever he does in his AB while a runner is in scoring position

No. If the runner is caught stealing for the third out, that batter will lead off the next inning.

Shouldn't think so. It's how the plate appearance ENDS that matters, not what was going on when the batter sauntered to the plate.

No. You have to get a Hit to improve your RISP.
