They may feel this forum is just for fun and really has no part of their "real" life. So they walk away with no feelings of ties.

The other is they may feel that one person has made things too complicated for them to stick around so they have to leave all of it.

Some probably get tired of the suspensions from Yahoo staff.

They are ashamed. I know, I know, that wouldn't be the case with you. They should be able to tell you anything. I had a friend (life long friend) up and move in one night. No letter, no call, no nothing! Two years later I found he had gotten a 13 y/o pregnant. Ran off to Kansas to get hitched. Apparently the laws there are a bit more lax on the age. Now would that be something you would have told even your best friend? I doubt it. Mainly because even though he was my best friend, he knew (right too) that I would have turned him in. Pedophiles can rot in hell!

I would like to know that answer myself. I had a friend since middle school who was with me through thick and thin. I stood up in her wedding, she was my birthing coach. Then she just dropped out of my life without so much as an explaination. If I did something I could have handled being told so.

They've changed, or believe you have

They decide you no longer provide any substancial benefit to themselves

Friendship is rad...and yet, because in the general picture it has no prospect of breeding and increasing the race, there isn't strong base-lined bonds running through it. Know what I mean?? Its wavering.

I suggest, if its you who has been "abandoned" to try to find a person very, very.verryy similar to the one, and hopefully theyll sort of fill the empty void in the capricious depths of your heart!!
And over time it will smooth over, like from waves of the ocean on a knarled rock.

It could be a number of things. A lot of the time something else fills their lives and they become too involved for us. Sometimes it can be something we said or did or something someone said we did and they don't admit what it is. Sometimes there just is no reason other that growing apart.

Some friends are not meant to be there for us forever, some just serve a purpose and then are gone,,,rather like our personal angels. Others are our forever friends, and they would never leave without telling us why,,and then they would stay in touch because of our love for one another.

All sorts of reasons, actually...

Sometimes, one friend gets their feelings hurt without the other one realizing it, but doesn't say anything... letting space grow between them....

Sometimes, one just gets too caught up in their own lives, neglecting the friend...

Sometimes it's a signal that the friend wants to end the friendship...but does not know how....

Many many reasons.... the question though is, what happens when they come back........

Have you considered the possibility of alien space abductions? Nothing should be ruled out. I have been beamed up many times after a visit with Mr. Jim Beam.

Hello dear!
Everything changes and moves!
Thus every and each one of us are changing and move around!
What is now obvious was not before. What we appreciate now we did not even thought of before!
What we like now we did not even know or even dislike before!
So, many things are differentiating their own stand points!
Similarly friends come and go!
Though, there are relations that last longer and those are the true friendships, those I and Epicurus say are equal to virtues!

Sometimes we have things going on that we don't want to share with others for fear of burdening them. That is one reason that seems to me to be one of the biggest.
At times it's hard to remember that your friends would rather know than just wonder why you left.
