Wow....great question. I really had to think about this because my first gut response was sight (I am such a visual person) but then I had to rethink all of that and concluded that it was touch that I would miss the most. Don't know what I would do if I lost "human contact". Holding hands, the caress of a face, the embrace of lovers, and friends..........Yeah....if I am am alone touch would be intrinsic to me. Sight would definitely be a strong second.

Sight, I could go through life and get but pretty easy if I lost Sound,Taste,Touch or smell but to be blind would be a whole different world

This is a tough one..have a friend who can't feel...she gets along fine, even when she broke a leg,she didn't know it, the doctor found it,,,she doesn't know when you touch her....,my husband is losing his hearing and can't smell,,his taste buds have always been off,,,,he gets along just fine...but, my neighbor who is losing her sight is really having problems....I think I'd have to say sight would be the hardest from observing my friends....and common wouldn't be easy either...

Touch. Sight and sound would be bad. Taste and smell, ah well, but not to be able to feel!! That would have to suck.

I fought with this one all day...
Oddly enough... Sound. If you concentrate and have the patience you can 'see' acoustically. I had to learn to do so for awhile after a bad flash burn to my eyes that left me blinded for some time... But trying to 'listen & hear' visually... I don't think I could do that.
I regularly eat kimchee so my tastebuds are almost gone...
I can be touched with sound...
Smell I know I can get by without...
I like this question.
I love sound too much. To listen... Ahhh...

well, i can live without smelling or tasting. really, what are you ever going to do with them? um, touch would be awkward. but you'd never feel physical pain again. i could learn to lip read, so going with the crowd, i'd say sight.
