i have a 94 cadillac devile and the trunk is electric. my battery is no good and i opened the trunk and cant shut it. is there any way that i can close it manually without the battery working?

If you opened the trunk with a dead battery, the trunk pull down would not have activated. If you close the trunk hard (slam it) it shoud close.
You can also hook jumper cables to the battery (or even to the cables if the batter is not in the car, and the trunk pull down motor will work!

Connect jumper cables from another car to your battery cables and close it.
