The biggest obstacle to your own success is none other than YOURSELF.
If you don't believe in yourself, if you don't follow throught with your dreams, your goals, your desires, you will never get anywhere in life.
It's so easy to blame your failures on your parents, on other people, or just on luck or on life "never giving you a break"... but the real obstacle is your opinion of yourself.
The movie "Titanic" is only worth watching because of one line: "You make your own luck"..

I guess that all depends on your definition of success !
Success by the world's standards usually equates to career , material prosperity & position or status.
I know many successful people who have absolutely none of these but whose names will endure for generations because of the positive influence they have had in the lives of people.
If you only measure success by the world's standards then long term contentment will be very difficult to achieve !

the only one i can think of is.. getting over my addiction my family says that it will be to success, whereas my other family (lebanon category family) say the opposite.. so the big obstacle is finding out wheather it is or isnt !!?

right now my biggest obstacle is my parents not trusting me!!
they arent even letting me go off to college on my own, i have to wait until my brother graduates and go with him!!! its not fair, i am never going to get anywhere like this with them all up in my business like this
