When he breaks it I think he'll be in his 40's. He'll retire when he wins a World Championship. He's not like Bonds who just wants the record and not win. They calculated Arod's pace that he is at right now and they say he might have 1,000 career home runs.

I say around 830 maybe 840. Break the record around 42. He will be in his mid 40's when he retires.

I think he will hit between 800-850 if he stays healthy. I noticed Bonds has announced he will be returning next year. I think Bonds sees Arod in his rear view mirror and wants to try to pad his numbers a little.

I wanna say about 820 or so, it's easy to say 1,000 at the pace that he's going at if (1) he stays healthy, (2) he stays with the yankees because of that short 316/18 foot porch in left.
