I saw "Hairspray" last night and I just can't stop talking about it. It was amazing! Beat the heck out of Shrek, Pirates of the Caribbean, SpidermanIII, Fantastic Four and even *gasp* Harry Potter!

Live Free Or Die Hard
It's the only blockbuster I've seen this summer, and it totally fit the bill. It was 2 hours of action and over the top effects and filled the bill as pure escapism.
It's no Citizen Kane, but for what it wanted to be it excelled.

I'm not a "go to the movies" person but, from the ads on the TV, I'd say I agree with MnG...hope it comes to TV soon...
