In some situations it certainly can be. Sometimes people take advantage of another persons kindness and to be honest after a while it makes a person hesitate. I'm much more careful now than just a few months ago and I'm at a point where I isolate myself and avoid social events and gatherings. After getting burned so many times it makes you think before you act. So yes it can be a weakness :)
