Because my ex has onces asked me if he could take my ten yrs old for a ride in his car he didn't mention me coming also to shaparon then a few months later he asked again w/ this look on his face like he was
actually thrilled or something ocurred. It really makes me fill like I want to get sick because I was involed with this guy yah no. basically can i violate your baby someone please give me some kind of clarity because maybe im in denial...yaaaaaaaah!

Women make me sick. Why is it okay for a woman to take a person's kid out to do something but not a man? Women constantly complain about fathers not connecting with their children, yet they never take notice how men are constantly being kept from being around kids. There's always some negative connotation if a man is with a child alone, or holding them, but a woman can do the same thing and nobody gives it a second thought, even though she may be a pedophile herself. Just because she's female doesn't mean she is only touching them in a nurturing way.

While you're on the subject of making prejudices against men, why don't you ask something about blacks? I bet if you wrote something like "I saw this black guy in the store I work at and I just had this suspicion he might be a shoplifter. He comes in there quite often to shop and I sometimes get a feeling he's casing the place. Should I alert security?"

I bet if you asked that question, then people wouldn't be telling you to go with your gut feeling like they are to this question of yours. What prejudiced hypocrites. There's a difference between having warranted fears and unfounded fears. I suggest you stop having and spreading the unfounded kind.

You go by your gut feelings...you look up names on sexual offenders list. There really is no way of telling til the damage has been done. I was a victim of it from my childhood (6-13) and it is something I have to live with everyday. Just do your job and protect your child. You should watch "NBC NEWS: Dateline to catch a predator." They have different people from everywhere trying to get young girls off the internet. There are Doctors, married men and some try to bring their kids.... and it is all at an undercover house with law enforcement.

Lots of signs, problem is they are slick operators. It's the signs you don't see that are troublesome.

A parents intuition is sign number one, trust your inner voice.

Lots of young friends or toys/video games when not having own kids. Some people just like kids some like them too much.

ALWAYS believe your kid FIRST. Adults who prey LIE. A kid is not mature enough to make that sort of stuff up.



Some predators will date a single Mom to gain access to kids. You should have a boyfriend if you want but be careful. The only thing you can do to be safe is educate your children.

Let them know it is okay to say no to an adult (many fear this)

Tell them if someone says or does/touches them in a way they don't like to tell you right away.

Tell them to let you know if someone offers gifts/happy meals/bribes etc.

Tell them if anyone threatens them to keep a secret to tell you and you will protect them. (give them a prize for a reward of honesty)

To answer your question, there aren't sure fire ways to determine if someone is a pedophile, but if you're even considering such a thing, then don't let your kid go anywhere alone with him!! You two obviousely split up for some reason, and if he's sleazy enough to make you consider that he's violating your child, it's so much better safe than sorry.

There are no clear cut signs, but if you suspect that your ex might be - I would definitely keep him away from the kids and make sure your kids know the difference between good touching and bad touching.

Go with your gut. Don't ever let him around your daughter again and call the police or social services. Think about your daughter. You need to get help for her if this did happen, and he needs to be put in jail.
