No. Being a witch *and* a Christian is not "bad". The concepts of "good" and "bad" are human labels, nothing more. This means that these concepts are subjective, it is up to the individual to interpret what is "good" and what is "bad".

Witchcraft is NOT a religion, so being a witch and a Christian are quite compatible. There is much confusion that "all" witches are Wiccan, which is *patently* untrue. There are some witches that are not Wiccan. I am one such witch. I am a Welsh faerie shaman witch, not a Wiccan witch. This means that if you are a witch, *and* are Wiccan, *then* being a Wiccan witch *may* conflict with also being a Christian, because Wicca is a religion in and of itself. Wicca and Christianity hold very different belief systems, so that trying to meld them is more difficult compared to mixing witchcraft and Christianity, where witchcraft is not a religion but simply a way of life, and Christianity is a religion that can inform how to live that way of life. Jesus was Gnostic (NOT Christian, how could he have been Christian, he did not worship himself!)... the "secret" to this knowledge is that Gnosticism is *very* full of magic. Think about all the "miracles" Jesus manifested... think of all the symbolisms (the Holy Grail, the Shroud, all the many parables) Jesus created and left behind for future generations to ponder...

There are, actually, many Christian witches in the world. Google "Christian witch" and you'll find all the information you need to research this path.

Being a witch isn't bad at all. Of course I'll add if you are a bad person it won't matter what path you follow, you're still a bad person. There are christians who have and still do practice magick.

erihu is not correct a witch is not bound by laws that were written for the Wiccan religions. We witches are not bound by these "laws" at all. We chose to have our own morals. Some of us do subscribe to similar laws but there are others who don't.

Christian Herbalists, Midwives and old women who were no more than a bit ugly, have been called Witches by Christians and then tortured and murdered. So, being called a Witch by Christians is bad. However, the new witches are proud of their titles, but few are now Christian....hypocrisy cannot be be stomached by those of the Crafts who name themselves Witches.

You can't be a witch and be christian for the simple reason of the beliefs are totally different, witch/wiccans believe in many gods and goddesses christians believe in only one, witches have no churches only covens and christianity is against magick because they believe it to be evil, witches don't believe in heaven and hell, devil etc that is a christian belief.Being a witch is totally different to being wiccan. Witches have natural abilities, wiccans are taught. However a witch can be wiccan in beliefs.

A Witch is someone who practices witchcraft to help better the world and mankind. A witch is NOT someone who is ugly, worships the devil, or hurts people

Witch is a name given to someone who works with magical powers and natural substances and uses them to help and heal. Magic can be used for both good and evil, but is generally used solely for the good.

Absolutely bad! *evil cackle* Bad to the bone! Praise the Lord and Lady! Shiver me timbers! South Park rules!

If you think it's bad and it scares you, don't do it. Leave it alone. Just put the broomstick down and back away slowly. OK? OK. Don't worry your pretty little head about it. Your mommy will come tuck you in soon and tell you everything will be all right.

Being a witch is not bad, you can get different types. Most people think that witches are devil worshippers, but you can get white ones, which are kinda like what people in olden times used to have, but they were called medicine women.

Spell-craft dates farther back than Christianity, a good portion of our medical knowledge and chemistry can be linked to village healers and alchemists. In the Old Testament the book of Leviticus has many commands for purifying at night (under the moon) and what is referred to now as knot/string magick. Any practicing witch believes in Deity, choosing to work through the Christian god and his/her angels is simply a a way to focus upon the positive side of spell workings. Any respectable Wiccan knows and follows the "three fold law" and the law of attraction.

So despite what the majority of closed minded preprogrammed church followers would say, a good intentioned witch is always praising the Lord, with every thought of thanks for the sunbeam that wakes him/her in the morning, the flowers in bloom, the eagle in the sky, to the star light at night.

Being a witch isn't bad unless you use black magic. You can still be a witch and praise the lord the way I see it were all prasing the same thing, God is not a man, it not a woman either and it has no sex. All those wars that when one because one religoin thought the toher was worshiping the wrong god was wrong becuase they were all worshiping the same one they just saw diferant "sides" so to speak. Or the man holey people got power hungry and made up lies. And yes Christians generally belive that witchcraft is bad but that's becuase there pastors lead them to belive that actully have anykind of power of being i don't know not just a stupid person and all that was bad taht god didn't like it. I but i saw if you have faith and worship the power of flowers or trees or the very air you breath you are worshiping god. And if you can do magic or have other special abilties taht's great. If god hated it then you woulnd't be born th way you are. and there is a definite diffrence then those who say they are a wicht for attshoin and those who were always like that. i hope that made sencse.XD

That depends on the religious perceptions. The world isn't black and white and why bother someone if they're not hurting you? Most witches do not use their powers to harm others. In fact, I believe a popular phrase is "Harm none."
