Yeah of course! they got rock honours on VH1 last year. They have been given a plaque as honourary rock musicians in their hometown... And its recognised that they are one of the 6 bands in the world to have consecutive diamond sales on 2 albums (Hysteria And Pyromania both sold over 10 million records each)

If you like them or not, they are one hell of a band. They have been through a great deal, and stuck it out for thier drummer (who is a great drummer either before or after the accident). I think they are one of the best bands out there, and thankfully they are still touring.

That would be a preposterous statement. They served a purpose in the 80's for hair-metal nation, but they weren't built for the long haul, nor did they revolutionize rock.

Saw them in concert last year. They're good. Major props to their amputee drummer. Favorite song: "Love Bites."
