Def. Florida cuz I have like a million friends from Texas that move here. That surely tells me something. Also, the weather is great, and there are alot of hot attractions around. Great food. You can't go wrong with that. =) Even celebrities come to visit Florida for vacation. That's pretty darn cool. No state income tax if that matters to you. Price of gas is going down. Oh yeah, and def. multicultured like the guy before me mentioned. It's soo cool here!! I moved from NY to Florida and I don't really regret that at all. It's def. worth living here in paradise so to speak. I hope you have the same feeling once you arrive. Best of luck with your choice!!

TEXAS. I am bias I live here. The cost of living can be alot cheaper and we have a little of everything to do if your bored. Dont judge Texas on GWB. The weather can be mild and if You like the sun we have a coast and if you go to the north Texas part we even get snow. If you live in west texas you can travel a couple of hours west and go to casino or ski slopes, or travel south to the ocean or go to mexico. There are plenty of citys that are not too small, but not as big as Dallas or Houston. Lots of culture, and for the record no we all dont ride horses. I have been asked before.

Florida! It's a mix of international cultures, mostly in south Fla, and it has a northern accent the farther south you go, as well as one of the world's top destinations for urban coastal living: Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach.
So, Florida is very international, and Texas is very Texas.
I don't know if I'll ever make it to Texas.

I've lived in both states and I prefer the weather and the activities in Florida.
